Welcome + Grounding breath (5 min):
- Rewilding is a homecoming. It is a space to witness ourselves as nature does and come into loving relationship with our bodies, this community, and the nature that surrounds us. It is a space to connect with the ancestors who stewarded this land before us and envision a place where our children will continue to learn and grow in community.
- As we move through these practices, keep in mind to listen to your body. There is no right or wrong way to engage in this space.
- Let's start with breaths together to pull ourselves out of our heads and ground into our bodies.

Introductions: (10 min):
- Share your name, prounouns, and something you are witnessing about your relationship to yourself, community, or nature in this moment

Movement + gentle breathwork + guided meditation (15 min)
- We begin a practice by centering in our bodies through movement and breath. Our bodies are the spaces that connect us to the present moment and allow us to experience life through our senses. When we are centered we have access to different ways of knowing and different kinds of truth beyond our logical minds.
- Open up the body through gentle stretching (made accessible
- Body scan: witness sensations, tensions, movement, lighteness in the body
- Belly breathing: Overview of how to do belly breathing (trauma informed = listen to your own body and know that there is not a "right" way that this looks), then breathe for 3 min
- Guided meditation: Somantic practice around height / width / depth: Height of our body is our connection to the earth and the cosmos. Width is our connection to others. Depth where we have come from and where we are going.

Conversation breakouts in small groups of 3-4, followed by a reflections in a large group.
Breakout 1: What brought you here today? Why is that important to you? (15 min)
Breakout 2: Where / when do you feel most connected to the Earth? What does it feel like? (15 min)
Breakout 3: What is an idea or feeling that you want to take away from Refuge Festival into your own community? (15 min)

End with a cleansing breaths together, return to the original intention, and allow a few minutes for journaling (5 min)

By the end of the experience, participants will leave with practical experience in grounding their bodies using their breath and deeper connections to other participants at the festival.
