Opening Circle
Evana and Amari from QTL will set the stage for a transformative journey in our upcoming workshop. They will guide discussions on QTL's philosophy and objectives, fostering a collaborative environment where knowledge and insights can be shared. Together, we will craft community agreements to ensure a respectful and safe space for all participants. Join us for an experience that promises to be as enriching as it is enlightening.

Introduction to PNW Flora and Foraging Ethics (Led by Evana)
Learn about the diverse ecosystem and flora of the Pacific Northwest, as well as ethical foraging principles centered on respect, sustainability, and conservation. Additionally, practice safe plant identification and harvesting.

Guided Foraging Walk in the Forest (Co-led by Evana and Amari)
Learn to identify medicinal herbs, plants, and trees while practicing responsible harvesting. Engage in discussions on their historical and cultural significance in local and queer communities.

A short break to recharge, drink water, snacks or dehydrated fruit from QTL

Crafting with Plants: Medicinal and Therapeutic Uses (Led by Amari)

Join us for an immersive session where you will learn how to prepare and use herbs for healing and wellness. The session will include detailed instructions on crafting personalized herbal smoking blends and herbal bath soaks, highlighting their medicinal properties and benefits. You can engage in hands-on creation, guided by Amari, with time for experimentation and personalization.

Closing Circle

Sharing reflections and experiences journaling.

By the end of this workshop, you will have hands on tools to understand the importance and sacristy of harvesting, an how to use the herbs and their medicinal properties in calming smoke blends and herbal bath soaks.
